Menter Cyf.
Menter Cyf is located on Milland Rd in Neath and is a specialist printer of business forms, continuous stationery and many specialised forms used in the health sector and parking enforcement sector. They also supply extensive range of forms for use with many payroll applications including pressure seal mailers , security pay slips and A4 self seal forms with a window.
I was taken on a tour of their factory recently and was very impressed with their wide range of kit which included a recently installed S&T four colour printing press as well as various finishing equipment.
I was shown some of their recent jobs which included A&E (Accident and Emergency) Forms, Trace Safe tags which are used as a means of providing audit trail for donor blood, parking permits complete with pre-laminated film and holograms as security measures, numerous books with fixed penalty notices, (well some poor bugger got to print them!), forms with integrated labels and peel out cards - the variety of forms were endless and quite noveltive. Menter is the only producer of these forms in Wales.
Both Dyfrig Harris and Llyr Ab Islwyn have a long connection with Gwyl Pontardawe Festival. Dyfrig was involved many years ago on committee level and Llyr is the current financial director of the festival.
