BY ROAD

From the South, East & West:

  • Take M4 to Junction 45
  • Follow A4067 northbound for 5 miles
  • At Tesco roundabout, follow signs for Festival & Pontardawe Leisure Centre. Turn Left into Ffordd Parc Ynysderw.
  • There is limited parking (signposted) on the right just before the turning.
  • Parking for disability badge holders is available at Cwmtawe School close to the festival site, Please follow the marshalls' instructions.

From the North East:

  • Use A465 to Neath, exiting at A474 junction (signposted Pontardawe). Continue on A474 to Pontardawe (via Bryncoch and Rhos)
  • At Pontardawe Inn roundabout, follow signs for Festival & Pontardawe Leisure Centre.
  • See above for parking availability.

From the North West:

  • From Llandeilo follow A483 southbound to Ammanford
  • Fork left in Ammanford town centre (A474 eastbound)
  • In Pontardawe (7 miles) turn right at traffic lights by Dillwyn Arms
  • At next roundabout, turn Left
  • At next roundabout (Focus DIY, Lidl), turn Right into Ffordd Parc Ynysderw (signposted Festival, Pontardawe Leisure Centre
  • See above for parking availability.

BY TRAIN
The nearest mainline railway station is Neath(5 miles). Regular First Great Western intercity services to and from London Paddington, Reading, Swindon, Bristol Parkway, Cardiff, Bridgend, Port Talbot and Swansea call there approximately hourly. There are also Arriva local services available from Swansea and Cardiff.

Trains also operate from stations in West Wales into Swansea, whence you can travel to Pontardawe by bus (see below)

Regular bus services run from Neath to Pontardawe (see below).

BY BUS
First Cymru and South Wales Transport operate regular bus services to Pontardawe:
From Neath(Victoria Gardens): X22,122,146, 212
From Swansea(Quadrant): X20, X24/25, X26, X22/122, 120, 125
Stop PressFirst Cymru have re-introduced limited evening services between Swansea, Pontardawe and the Upper Swansea Valley.
From Ammanford: X24/25, 125, 146

BY AIR There are no helicopter parking facilities in Pontardawe. Contact us when you have bought your hot air balloon and we will gladly arrange a landing facility :o)

On a more serious note, KLM, Flybe and BMIbaby fly to Cardiff, Wales from many popular destinations. Don't forget to take see-through plastic bags with you.
